Overview
Hey Brain is a personal assistant messaging system. It sends SMS messages from Hey Brain users only to manually approved contacts for reminders, accountability check-ins, scheduling follow-ups, and direct user-requested outreach.
Information We Collect
Hey Brain may store contact names, mobile phone numbers, message content, message delivery status, opt-out status, and related notes needed to send or manage SMS messages.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to send requested personal assistant messages, manage contact preferences, process replies, prevent unwanted messages, and keep basic operational records.
SMS Consent
Contacts are added to Hey Brain SMS only after they voluntarily consent to receive text messages. SMS consent is separate from any other agreement, is optional, and is recorded before messages are sent. See the SMS Consent & Opt-In page for the current consent process and opt-in language.
Mobile Number Sharing
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process messages only as needed to operate the SMS service.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the reminders, check-ins, and follow-ups requested by Hey Brain users. Contacts may receive occasional messages rather than a fixed schedule.
Message And Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Your Choices
You can opt out of Hey Brain SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP, visit https://heybrain.app/terms/, or contact the Hey Brain user who added you.
Data Retention
Hey Brain keeps messaging records only as long as needed for operation, troubleshooting, compliance, and contact preference management.
